Summer Reading Linky!

I have received so many invites to linky parties lately and am trying to catch up!! =) This is also working out well for me as I am behind on writing blog posts. Many of you know that I write my posts in advance... sometimes months in advance but this grad class is kicking my booty!

Its not the materials but the instructor I am so frustrated with. I had to do practicum but the instructor insisted it be done within a 2 week time frame which just happened to correlate with AIMS! No one who is not a teacher is not allowed in during THE TEST nor would I be able to observe or teach during THE TEST. She gave no leniency and after several rounds with my university and tears to my principal, I sneaked into a classroom.

Only 2 weeks left and this class is done! I can't wait! The teacher is also ticked at me for complaining about her policies. It was complain or fail and failing is not an option.

Anywho... vent over.
Onto the linky party at Mrs. Stanford's Class....

So here is a list of some of my new favorites that I have been reading lately:

I bought the book but haven't read it yet

Love this one - need to work on implementing it.

Need to steal this back from BFF who also loves it.

Good Book. BFF swears by it.
It just doesn't seem to fit my style though.

And here is a list of my want to read books!

So excited about this book!!
Click on the picture to get to it - wish they had math!
There is also a 6-8 & 9-12 version.

I found out I was a softy the day I taught middle school.
It was not fun. I am not a middle school kinda teacher.
I like short people who still admire their teacher
and do not have s*x on the brain during class.

Looks so good!!!

Everyone in my district is required to read this.
So it is a must read!

I also have lots of children's books that I want to read. However, I have put that on hold for now. I want to work on the skeleton of my classroom first and then will be coming back to this. What is a skeleton? Ah... that is a question for another day.

Run, Miss Nelson has the Camera! is also having a linky party about books. All time favorite read alouds. So here are a list of mine....
I have read this a million times
and I know I will read it a million more!

Love the accent and the lesson
of acceptance and friendship.

 One of my childhood favorites!

One person can make a difference!

Join the link parties and share your book list. Can't wait to see what is all on your list for summer!

Don't forget!
