              About Me

I am a teacher, student, wife, and mother to 3 incredibly amazing boys. I began this blog as a searchable journal of my experiences from grad school to classroom. It has grown into so much more.

I have a Masters Degree in Elementary Education focusing on Middle Childhood, an endorsement in Structured English Immersion, a Bachelors of Science in Business Administration, and a Bachelors of Science in Project Management. I am a member of Kappa Delta Pi (International Honor Society for Teachers), in the top 2% of my graduating class, and a member of the American Association of Educators.

I have six years of teaching experience in a private setting in grades K-4. In addition to that I have 6 years of full-time teaching experience in grades K-4 and 2 years experience as a certified substitute teaching.

One of my new hobbies in addition to blogging and blog stalking has been creating blog designs as part of the Honey Bunch Blog Design Team. I have met so many new people from around the world and made some dear sweet friends.

This is actually a characture of myself, Erika, and Nikki drawn by our in-house designer Nikki at Melonheadz Illustrating. She used a photo to turn us into clip art. See... now you know what I look like! Nikki is also my partner-in-crime and designs all of the graphics for my products. I am truly blessed with some amazing friends!
