Going a teeny-tiny bit insane!

Life here has been hectic and I am barely floating above water. So my blog is being neglected. My apologies. I have a TON of stuff I want to share with you just no time at the moment.

I am on an 11 week count down until the end of my grad-school classes! They are kicking my booty at the moment but in 11 weeks I will be free... until August when Student Teaching begins.

Hubby got really sick and was diagnosed with diabetes. While trying to learn and adjust our lifestyle to him, I was diagnosed as hypoglycemic... yep! The exact opposite of hubby. I am really trying to learn how to balance this new need and be a teacher.

I skip meals a lot. ESPECIALLY when I am in the classroom. You know how our day is run the kids to lunch, run to the copier to see if it is working as it wasn't this morning, wait in line, run to the potty while doing the potty dance, and then oh looky there its time to go get the class again. I sometimes grab something to munch on while running through the halls on the heal of my mentor who is doing the same. So how do you balance this?

Doc says 6 small meals a day and 90 minutes in the gym 5 times a week. Yea... me... I have an extra 90 minutes somewhere in my day to spear for the gym. I have done 15 mins all week. It was tough! I have stuff piling up all over the place around here... where does a girl find 90 minutes? To top it all off, I have that annoying MSG allergy that makes me allergic to just about everything. So... I am stuck.

And whining...
And tired....
And I should be doing homework...

Hmmm... maybe I just need to snuggle with my son who is referred to as "the little oven" as he is home sick with a 103 fever and his puppy. But I wanted to let you all know that I am around. I have some great new products I have made for you and that someday... I will be back!

HUGS to all!

  2. Oh my goodness! Talk about stress! Well hopefully after the last 11 weeks of grad school you'll have more time available. I don't know how someone finds an extra 90 minutes FIVE times a week. I go to the gym 4-5 times for an hour and I feel like that's a lot. I hope things settle down for you and you find a way to sort out all of your new lifestyle changes.
