Today we are going to talk about Chapters 3 & 4! While this chapter includes information on both addition and subtraction strategies, we will not be discussing those. Instead we are going to focus on how to build a math foundation. This is primarily done in grades K-2. We will discuss addition strategies for all grade levels next week. The following week will be subtraction then multiplication and lastly division.

Nice post. Memorizing the multiplication tables is important, but it really won't be retained well in the child's memory if they don't understand the concept of numbers. You are totally on target here. Thanks for sharing.
