Hall Passes

During my first few classes I was dying to do something crafty. My initial classes were not all that exciting and I wanted to play! While wondering through Hobby Lobby one day... inspiration struck! I recalled this sign that I found on Pinterest previously:

Just imagine this in red, perhaps a black accent some how. Each letter will have a silver eye-hook, just a small one in the bottom to hang a metal monogrammed letter! Each letter is the hall pass. This sign is from an Esty seller and you can custom order the color.

My first attempt came out quite plain. It just needed more. So I went hunting again and started over. This is how they turned out.

Here is a close up of the finished product. I can't wait to hang these up and use them.

The designs were created using scrapbook stickers and then I sealed it with a clear lacquer. I then sent my boys off in the attempt to destroy them. They can't get the stickers off. They can only destroy the ribbons on which it hangs. You can use Clorox wipes to wipe them clean... now if only to find a way for them to remain germ free....

What do you use for hall passes? Is it effective?

  1. Those passes are so cute! I don't have hall passes. I only see up to 5 kids at a time so I always know where they are. I just did a post on my portfolio...I hope it helps!
