Tic-Tac-Spell

Spelling is one of those topics that students get bored with rather quickly. It is continual repetition that teaches us to spell correctly but also leads to boredom. I created the following tic-tac-toe boards that can be used with any level of spelling.

There are 4 boards, one for each week of the month. On the rare occasion of a fifth week, I have decided to allow my students to choose their favorite board or make one of their own for homework. They have to choose three items to complete to "win."

The details for each board is on my classroom website. I created this information so that if a parent does not understand how to do an activity, they would have easy access to the information. I will demonstrate and go over the information with my students prior to sending home the boards for the first time.
