So..... it is that time of year.
The time for clearance sales and shopping.
A new blogger-teacher friend lives just an hour away (to me that is like living next door!) so we set up a lunch date that turned into an all day shopping extravaganza! I met her on WBT and she agreed to let me do some practicum hours in her classroom. Can't wait!
Here is a picture of Bethany and I... aren't we adorable? The cute one in the middle is her daughter. =) Such a fun girly day! Bethany is a new blogger so click on her name and stop by to visit her blog. She cracks me up!
So what did we get....
First we went to Treasures 4 Teachers. This is the place I told ya about a while ago. The warehouse of discounted teacher stuff. I got a box full of buttons, adding machine paper, white board erasers, and a few more things. It was a pretty expensive trip for what I walked away with but it went to a good cause.
Those shelves were another fun project... aren't they cute!
Then it was Target, Walmart, Michaels, Hobby Lobby, Joanne's Fabrics, Lakeshore, Starbucks (we got hungry!), and Barnes and Noble (its where Starbucks is). Okay... so Bethany missed some of this shopping with me but it is where I have been at the last few days. I can't remember where I got what and I know I am missing a few places.
I went to pick up summer clearance items and to see what the memorial day sales had. Let me tell ya - the summer items were almost gone! For some things I had to visit multiple stores to collect enough and I was obsessed!

BUT look at the black, white, and red cuteness! I blame pinterest for my OCD issue. Its my story and I'm sticking too it.
Too fun!!! I love shopping...I already have a stack of school stuff....not sure where it's gonna sit all summer, small house:/ Love the border:) I got that a while ago...I learned the hard way last year, if you don't order early, it will be sold out! Of course you know I love the b/w theme:) I got a ton of b/w at Hobby Lobby the other day (pop by and check out pics:) I almost got that exact adorable polka dot board...then couldn't make up my mind and put it back:( You should decorate the fronts of your drawers with fun b/w borders:)) AND then join my Monday Made It linky starting Monday;))

I love your black, white, and red theme. That is what I think I'm leaning toward making my classroom next year! Summer shopping is so much fun!! It sounds like you had a blast shopping with your new friend. :)
